MS/HS Announcements

1. Congratulations to all 5-8th students that performed in the instrumental contest last Friday in Winner. Solo ratings: Abraham Yeary Received an Excellent, Jesse Sloan, Carter Herman, Danny Croston, Jessie Paulson, Wyatt DeBoer, Arleigh Musser, Devon Paulson, and Braxton Heath each received a Superior. The duet of Haidyn Supik and Angel Frank received a Superior rating and the mixed ensemble consisting of: Arleigh Musser, Marshall Watzel, Braxton Heath, Abraham Yeary, Wyatt DeBoer, Ryker DeSmet, and Devon Paulson Received a Superior. It was a great day!

Also, Reminder that All BAND RENT and Chocolate money is due by Friday or before you can check out!

2. Football sideline cheer practice for all interested 26-27 high school girls, is May 8th from 3-5pm, and May 11th from 3:30-5pm in the Gregory High School gym. Tryouts are then on May 13th from 3:30-5pm. If there are any questions, Coach Braun’s email and number are on the flyers around the school.

3. Be a hero! Donate blood at the Legion in Colome on May 12th from 2:15 to 5:30 pm. Date coming up: Winner on May 20th from 10:15-3, and May 21st from 1-6 at the Winner City office building. If you donate 3 times while in high school (16 year old+), you can wear a cord at graduation.

4. Driver’s Ed sign-up sheet is in the office. It is May 18th-21st with a cost of $250. You have until May 15th to sign up, have the registration form returned and payment received. You must be 14 by January 1st of 2027 to take driver’s ed.

5. Friday, May 15th - MS Awards in the Gym at 10:30 am. Students may leave after awards with their parents.

6. Friday, May 15th - Elementary Awards at 11:45 in the gym. Students may leave with their parents after the awards assembly.

7. Gregory Youth football camp is on May 19th and 20th. Ages 6-9 are at 9-10 am. Ages 10-12 are from 10am - 12:00pm. Cost is $20 per attendee. Gatorade, popsicles and a T-shirt are provided. Registration forms were sent home on Monday, May 4th.

8. Music is selling chocolate; see a choir or band student to purchase. The price ranges from $1 - $3 per item.
